Lab Packing and Disposal oversight

Lab packing services

All laboratories, regardless of size, must manage chemicals with a focus on safety and regulation compliance. This requires an effective system to manage inventory, onsite collection, segregation and packing, chemical consolidation based on compatibility, handling of reactives, cylinder management and transportation. The objective is to remove and safely manage outdated, contaminated, leaking, or unidentified chemicals to increase usable space, protect people and maintain compliance.

From facilities across the U.S., ABF Environmental lab pack service delivers fast, professional, and compliant solutions to handle any quantity of chemicals while fully complying with all federal, state and local regulations.

Our Packing & Disposal Process

ABF technicians properly classify waste in accordance with US Department of Transportation (DOT) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. Our technicians begin by conducting a chemical inventory. They then safely repackage compatible chemicals from smaller containers into larger DOT-approved shipping containers. Finally, all containers are labeled, shipping manifests are completed and the potentially hazardous chemicals are safely removed.
